Steins Gate 0 is a visual novel, and you follow your character around Akihabara, and you get to talk with characters, and you can also use your phone to send messages to your friends, and have conversations with them. During these branches, you will get to control other characters, like Amane Suzuha and Hiyajo Maho. So if you are a completionist, and want to see all possible endings, you will need to play the game more than once. When playing the game, you will be presented with a choice, and depending on what you do, the story will branch in one out of two possibilities. But Rintaro and his friends weren’t the only ones who were interested in time travel, an organization called SERN found out about their discovery, and when confiscating their creation, killed Mayuri. Their invention is called the PhoneWave, and it can be used to transfer data back in time, by sending texts and transporting a person’s mind to their body who is in the past. One day, Rintaro along with Makise Kurisu, Shiina Mayuri, and Hashida Itaru, end up by accident coming up with a way to time travel, by using a phone and a microwave. This games branches of before the ending of Steins Gate, and it focuses mainly on Okabe Rintaro, and Amane Suzuha. Watch the story unfold as you play this visual novel game.
